Nigel is Barpa’s Operations Manager for NT, WA, and SA. He holds qualifications in both civil engineering and building management and has a thorough understanding of D&C project methodology including highly technical Services related projects. Nigel spent the first 10 years of his career in project engineering roles, working on a diverse range of projects including large housing and industrial estates, water and waste water treatment plants and civil amenities infrastructure.
He then moved onto large scale mining and civil progressing into a project management role on the Cowal Gold Mine project for Barrick Gold. Nigel then spent six years working as a construction project manager on a range of projects including hospitals, schools, industrial/ commercial and institutional facilities.
