Barpa’s successful completion of a new Acute Mental Health Inpatient Unit and Emergency Department upgrade at the Broken Hill Hospital marks our fifth project delivered for NSW Health Infrastructure, building on a strong track record across complex health environments.
Previous NSW Health projects include the Medowie Ambulance Station, Hay Health Services Redevelopment, Buronga HealthOne, and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Redevelopment – Stage 1.
Barpa continues to expand its health delivery footprint, with three NSW projects currently underway: the Finley Hospital Redevelopment and the Kempsey District Hospital HGEN CCRR Project for NSW Health Infrastructure and the Bourke Aboriginal Health Service for Njernda Aboriginal Corporation.
Beyond NSW, Barpa is delivering and has completed healthcare projects across Australia, including the NEAMI Adult Mental Health Centre in Casuarina (NT), the Essendon Campus Health Hub Fitout and Community Health and Learning Hub in Victoria, and the Castlemaine Health Campus CSSD Theatre Project.
Together, these projects demonstrate Barpa’s capability to deliver technically complex, operationally sensitive healthcare facilities—often within live environments—while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, cultural engagement and community outcomes.
