Barpa Construction Services held a memorable cocktail function at the National Gallery of Australia to celebrate its 5th anniversary with clients, industry leaders, Indigenous businesses and staff who all showed their support of Barpa and its incredible achievements since operations began.
We were honoured to have Ngunnawal Elder Aunty Violet Sheridan welcome us to country followed by our Executive General Manager Michael Read who spoke on where Barpa came from, where we’re at and where we’re going, before the audience were privileged to view the premiere of a promotional video we’ve been working on to tell our story.
Keynote Speaker, Steven Grzeskowiak – Deputy Secretary Estate and Infrastructure, Dept of Defence, then captivated the audience with an inspirational talk as Defence’s Indigenous Champion.
“Thanks all for your attendance on the night. Many travelled to be there and your support of Barpa is appreciated. The general positive vibes within the room from staff and clients, particularly Defence, was infectious.” Michael Read.
A great night was had by all, and we look forward to what the future holds.
