Welcome to Country at RAAF Base Scherger

Our Barpa project team were honored to be Welcomed to Country at RAAF Base Scherger near Weipa, FNQ.

The Welcome Ceremony formally kicked off our project and afterwards everyone enjoyed a BBQ back at the Base Mess.

Thanks to the Alngith Traditional Owners, the Pippi Tribe, Local Community leaders and the Staff of RAAF Scherger not only for their assistance but their attendance.

This project is a great example of empowering our people with already over 50% Indigenous skilled labour and contractors working on the project already.
