The Health Hub project was Barpa’s second project for Bendigo Kangan Institute. The project provided two Indigenous employees from Barpa’s Djarmbi Mentoring Program with the opportunity to work on a refurbishment within the operational Essendon Campus to create a learning environment for nursing and allied health students.
The project involved the refurbishment of part of the Essendon campus to relocate staff and program from Moonee Ponds to Essendon and create two nursing simulators, pathology simulator, nursing store, pathology store, shared bathroom and shared clean and dirty rooms.
