The Barpa team was engaged under a fixed lump sum contract to renovate Hopetoun P‐12 College’s 1960s-era main school building.
The in‐scope section of the building was about 50% of the floor space. Our team and subcontractors were also able to improve most of the out‐of scope parts of the building as well, making it almost a total renovation.
The works occurred across a 12-month period while the school remained operational.
The team achieved a fantastic 11% Indigenous spend outcome on the project and as part of a Community 2 Day project volunteered and assisted with the relocation of external gym equipment from the school which was donated to the local community centre.
