The project consisted of externally and internally refurbishing the Sergeant's Mess building at RAAF Base Darwin. The scope included painting works, and the refurbishment of flooring, the Kitchen and toilet facilities.

The team successfully overcame several challenges including complying with the building’s heritage requirements, working on an operational base and delivering the project during Darwin’s ‘Wet Season’

A ‘zero harm’ outcome was achieved through comprehensive and uncompromising management of risk; particularly those risks relating to health, safety and the environment (HSE).
