Barpa are very proud to announce that it's Larrakeyah Officers Mess project is the winner of the Master Builders Northern Territory 2023 Excellence in Building Construction Awards – Defence Facility 2023 $5 to$20 Million
The Master Builders Northern Territory celebrated the very best of the northern construction industry with their Excellence in Building & Construction Awards 2023 held in Darwin.
Barpa were delighted to win the Defence $5-$20 Million award category for its Larrakeyah Officers Mess project completed last year. As a result of our win, the Larrakeyah Officers Mess project is now a finalist for the National Commercial Historical Restoration/Renovation Award in the Master Builders Australia National Excellence in Building and Construction Awards 2023 to be held on Saturday 25 November 2023 at the Crown Towers, Perth.
The project involved the complete refurbishment of the Larrakeyah Officers Mess, which was built in 1940 and listed on the Australian Commonwealth Heritage List as having an exceptional level of heritage significance.
