Barpa successfully completed the Buronga HealthOne project in NSW which is a new community health facility operated by the Far West Local Health District (FWLHD).

The new HealthOne facility includes child, family, women's health, allied health and antenatal / post-natal care services and is situated on the lands of the Barkandji people.

Prior to construction commencing Barpa played a pivotal role in assisting the Client and the Traditional Owners finalise the building and landscaping designs to incorporate Barkandji cultural elements. This included expanded landscaping, incorporating Barkandji language and images on signage, animal imagery in the entrance paving and a tribute on the entry wall of the Barkandji connection to the Murray River.

During construction we proudly achieved an Aboriginal Participation spend of 14.85% utilizing various Indigenous suppliers, and provided employment opportunities for 18 Indigenous people.
