Works undertaken in a live environment included demolition, services reconfiguration, and internal fit out works to create open work spaces, collaboration spaces, focus spaces, breakout spaces, meeting rooms, wellness facility, kitchen facilities and a reception and waiting area.
The Cremorne building which was originally home to the Melbourne Wire Works factory was built in 1942 and is of local historic and architectural significance.
The team were able to meet a hard deadline to ensure the relocation of Kangan Institute’s staff to the new office space and proudly achieved a 6% Indigenous business spend, engaging several Aboriginal businesses on the project.
